While the inspiration for this project comes from things like NFTs, I personally heavily dislike them, and decided to go for a different theme of sorts. I decided to make photos for fake ID cards of a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign I'm running.

There are classes and subclasses in DnD, and the type of different subclasses for bards are called "colleges." Because of this, I decided to make a college themed DnD campaign for my friends, where they all play as bards. I decided that I could make school ID cards, much like our OneCard's here in SMCM, for their characters, while making the bust shot of them that would be fit the project description. The ID card wouldn't be part of the turned in project, yet I thought it was important to explain my inspiration and plans with the class project.

I started to sketch the base in FireAlpaca. Then after that, I roughly sketched each character over it.

After I did these very rough sketches with a mouse, I exported all of them to Adobe Illustrate to start to line them properly. First I lined the base out of simple shapes.

And right now I'm still working on just finishing the lining for just the first batch of shapes for the first character.

I plan on re-using the eyebrow shapes by re-angling and changing the color, as with parts of the eyes, nose, and the fabric of the clothes and accessories, when they are added. (For example, the ascot that two of the characters share, and the undershirts) I also want to change the background colors for each character to match their color scheme, so that they match with each of them. (One with a warmer color scheme, cooler, darker, brighter, etc.) Lining all of the hair and the clothes of each character, will take me a while, but I hope it will be worth it!
